Author Sergio Bambaren has sparked an international phenomenon with his enchanting book THE DOLPHIN; it has been translated into 40 languages and has sold 10 million copies worldwide. Now his heartwarming tale of Daniel Alexander Dolphin entitled: THE DOLPHIN: STORY OF A DREAMER (Hay House/ $8.95) is available in the United States.

An animated film version of The Dolphin will be released by 20th Century Fox in Latin America and Europe in 2009 and is coming to US theatres soon.

Based on the true story of Sergio’s personal encounter with a lonely dolphin, he shares the wisdom and insight he gained from leaving a lucrative career and spending a month in Portugal with a real life dolphin he affectionately named Daniel Alexander.

In the same spirit of the classic Jonathon Livingston Seagull, THE DOLPHIN offers simple wisdom and insight for overcoming your fears and limitations to live the life of your dreams.  Something the author himself had the courage to do after realizing there was more to life then Rolexes and Armani suits. He claims, “I was living to work, not working to live.”

Bambaren returned to his heart’s calling– the ocean. His love of the sea and surfing inspired THE DOLPHIN and 11 more books he has authored since. According to Bambaren “When we listen to our heart and follow our dreams we will be guided on a magical journey towards our destiny.”

Whether you are eight years old or eighty, this book will captivate and inspire YOU to follow your heart and live your dreams!

“Follow your dreams. Listen to the voice of your heart.

Whatever others might tell you,

Never forget that you only live once,

And that your dreams, big or small,

Are the biggest treasures that will guide your life

To a unique and wonderful destiny.

Don’t let your fears stand

In the way of your dreams” –The Dolphin
